It's an artistcally illustrating night photo! Night can look blurry and the blue with a dash of pink sky suits colours associated with night also. It's like you are either driving into or away from the night :)

No no! Illustrations can be from any origin. Some are drawings and paintings and some are pics often enhanced with Photoshop. This is OK. You use the tools that you want! Nice illo!

Face it -- VFM4 is just a big cheater! :) But a very imaginative one, with photos that could be illustrations, so we'll forgive her.

Harumph! to ALL rules. I believe a peek through almost any magazine will quickly show that 90% of advertising is based in photography. Your piece is lovely.

illustration - n 1: artwork that helps make something clear or attractive
Hmm...doesn't seem to me like you're cheating at all! And even so, I love the way you do it. This photograph elicits the edgy feeling I get at twilight, both happy and sad. I like the motion in the trees and the contrast between the light on the right and the dark on the left.

There's an ominous sense of impending darkness in this one. What really struck me is the stillness of the trees on the horizon compared to the closer ones rushing past!
