But the colors are wonderful! It's an impression of a watery transparency that's more enjoyable as art (to me) than a super-realistic rendition.

Isn't that always the way it is!!! I'll go back and look at something I was unhappy with, and put it out there anyway only to find out it wasn't that bad after all. I think this glass painting is wonderful. I love the colors, the reflection on the surface...and how well you have captured the light and transparency.

I like this one, actually....not sure why you don't. The color is great, and there's a real feeling of liquid and reflection.
the colors, the reflection, not even the form is the problem, but the rim is not fluent(?) enough, it doesn't look the way it feels, hard, wrong...
it's a feeling and nothing can take that away...
i'm my own worst critic, i know... :)
