silk picture
this is a combination of silk and litho on paper, embossed.. they were rare when i was a girl, the ones i had were probably ripped out of the albums of the mothers of the girls who glued them in my poesie album..
(poesie album, an album in which your friends and family wrote little poems and added pictures, like this one.. can anyone tell me what they were called in English? and the little pictures?)

We had autograph books and I have a fine collection of similar cards that belonged to Husband's Grandparents ... but don't know what these cards are called in English ...
i found that some people call them stickers, others say scraps and i think the last one is right, thinking of scrap books and scrap screens..
post some of the collection, please..
the rest of mine is on flickr where you can't reach them... hmm... i'll post some here.... :)
Scrap sounds right! Packing to move business, house and studio, so folder with cards is in box already. But have two prayer cards I can show you HERE the first is oil paints, the second has silks and foil etc. and is over a hundred years old from my side of the family :)
