santa's feet

that's all it is...
has nothing to do with 'surprise', except my son brought me this santa from Norway.. :)

Really like the idea of suggesting rather than showing. Nice blog, btw.

this is a great photo. i agree with atlantean...the mix of textures is very pleasing.

i think too, that you've chosen the best possible perspective.

I think it's very cool...I had to look at it closely to realize that it was some kind of doll. I love how you've caught the texture of the blanket ot sweater it's on...I can see all the little fibers around its feet. Great composition, too. And..that's no surprise coming from you:>

I feel ripped off - want to see what my best friend looks like and want to shred the wool!

It is interesting that I know it is Santa even though I can only see a small part of of the picture. Really great idea. Well done.

I've always been interested in unusal perspective and radical cropping. This is wonderful photograph. :)

From Norway! So it's the REAL SANTA!!! Always thought he was Canadian...
Gee. Real Santa...No wonder he doesn't want to show himself! BTW like Mick, I love extreme cropping. Give life to a pic. Love it!

what a sweeeet photograph. It's funny the way you captured this photograph... like only you know how.. and it brings such emotion to the photo. His little tired feet.. arriving at (nearly) every doorway.. in this world. To offer love.

Great, sweet wonderful photo! --like, you!
