Marie
Marie is a 78 yr young lady who is normally drawing in the portrait group.. we all have to bring a model and last friday it was her turn but she couldn't find anybody so she had to 'sit' herself..
top drawing was the 5th i made at this session, and i think it was the best, but Marie prefers the bottom one, the 4th..

nice drawings!! YOu really capture the lady's accent!!
Your shrewd selection of your colour palatte serves to heighten the effect of this piece. Very very thoughtful use of colours, especially with white spaces (unpainted). Bravo!
Both capture a different expression both with the model and artist. The second is more 'alert' and looking outwards where the first is more reserved and contained within. I like both for different reasons!
