i went to my favorite bookstore, all that i needed was The World of Interiors magazine, but of course i couldn't resist and came home with a small stack of new books as well...

Hahaha. I can relate to that. I do that way too often.
They appear to be English language books.
I have always been amazed by the English language ability of the Dutch people. When I visited Amsterdam in 1992 or 1993, I was just staggered by how well they speak.
only the magazine and the Milne book are English, the other books are Dutch, either original or translated... :-)
